We will review the numerous physiological changes that occur with aging, diseases, and medications as well as describe ways to achieve daily nutritional requirements. Since loss of appetite is common in aging adults, we will speak about the management interventions to improve loss of appetite. We will focus on providing common vitamins and increase protein with aging. Preparing foods that are nutritious and easier to eat will be reviewed.
