ML49. SOUL CARE IN STRESSFUL TIMES

Whether you are a natural worrier or a cool cucumber, what we have experienced so far in 2020 has challenged all of us in our capacity to recognize, manage, and metabolize stress. Different people experience and process stress in different ways. In this course we’ll engage in both traditional and experiential learning to help you recognize your own unique stress patterns and try on some tools for processing these challenges more effectively for your unique personality style.

ML23. SHORT STORY MASTERPIECES

This will be an entertaining and compelling collection of stories by four established masters and two living writers: Leo Tolstoy’s “After the Ball”; Anton Chekhov’s “A Trifle From Real Life”; William Faulkner’s “Pantaloon in Black”; Ernest Hemingway’s “The Killers”; Ron Rash’s “Back of Beyond”; and Lionel Shriver’s “Exchange Rates.”
